National minimum wage rates
There are currently two different national minimum wage rates and an apprentice rate and National Living Wage rate. National Minimum Wage rates and National Living Wage rates change every April. The rates that apply from 1 April 2024 are as follows:

for worker aged 21 or over: £11.44 per Hour (National Living Wage rate)
for workers aged 18 to 20 : £8.60 per hour
for workers aged under 18 : £6.40 per hour
for apprentices : £6.40 per hour
